MERCURY MULTIMEDIA, INC. WINS TWO TELLY AWARDS

Spencer Day’s “Movie of Your Life” Music Video Earns Industry Top Honors

St. Louis, MO – May 3, 2006 –Mercury Multimedia, Inc., an award-winning video and multimedia production company, today announced it has received two Silver Telly Awards for its production of the music video for Spencer Day’s song “Movie of Your Life.”  The Telly Awards recognize outstanding video and film productions as well as cable television programs and commercials.  “Movie of Your Life” was a unique project for Mercury Multimedia since it combined film knowledge and expertise with a significant amount of special effects.

“Movie of Your Life,” Spencer Day’s first music video, received awards in the categories of outstanding music video and best use of special effects. Director Chris Lawing and Director of Photography Sean Mitchell led the video production team. The video featured Day acting in scenes based on famous films from different Hollywood eras, including Citizen Kane, Singin’ in the Rain and War of the Worlds.

“Recreating classic Hollywood film scenes is every director’s dream,” said Chris Lawing, director and president of Mercury Multimedia. “This song gave us the opportunity to build those scenes from scratch and, in some cases, improve them with advanced post-production techniques.”

This year marked the 27th for the Telly Awards, and winners were selected from more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents.
