MERCURY MULTIMEDIA, INC SCORES NATIONAL AEGIS AWARD

Judges Select California State Parks PSA As Finalist in Video/Film Production Awards

St. Louis, MO – Oct. 26, 2005 – Mercury Multimedia, Inc., an award-winning video and multimedia production company, today announced that it has won an Aegis finalist award for the California State Parks System’s new branding public service announcement (PSA) produced for Landis Communications, a mid-sized public relations agency in San Francisco, and the California State Parks Foundation. The Aegis Awards are the video industry's premier competition for peer recognition of outstanding video productions and non-network TV commercials.

California State Parks PSA was recognized for its outstanding production quality in the category of "TV Commercial" videos by a distinguished panel of judges representing industry professionals from around the country.  The video was created as a public relations tool to increase public awareness of the diverse collection of recreational, cultural and historical activities in the more than 278 state parks in California.  To date, the PSA has aired on television stations across the state with approximately 8.5 million viewers.

Mercury Multimedia, Inc. has received numerous awards, including an Aegis award for the company’s own marketing video and a League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) editing award for a video about EarthLink’s sponsorship of an Eco-Challenge team.  Recent projects from Mercury Multimedia include a trade show video for Big Show Pro and RightNow Technologies and broadcast videos for Zone Labs and Zamost Public Relations.
