Michael Mingroni , Creative Director
With over a dozen Emmy Awards for art direction, design and animation, Michael Mingroni is a true expert in his field and an exciting addition to the Mercury team. Mike has been the VP/Director of Design at ACME Television in St. Louis, Missouri for ten years, overseeing the graphic development, visual imaging and identity brands of 12 CW affiliated television stations. He has also produced the show graphics and visual effects for “The Daily Buzz,” a nationally syndicated morning news show, in addition to freelance work for ESPN, Wendy’s International and NBC, ABC and Fox affiliates.
Prior to joining ACME, Mike was the art director for seven years at WCMH-TV (NBC4) in Columbus, Ohio. He was also an instructor in 2-D animation at The National Institute for the Study of Digital Media on the Bowling Green State University campus, in Bowling Green, Ohio. Mike has received numerous awards for his achievements in visual design including: 13 Emmy Awards, five regional ADDY Awards, three Promax/BDA Gold Medallions, and one Desi Award.
